The Best Business Tools That I Recommend

by | Entrepreneurship

I’m picky about the systems that I use for my business, and I try to only use business tools that help me work faster, better, smarter! I’ve learned by trial and error what are some of the best and I’m sharing them below! Check ’em out!!

Asana is a project management system that helps you organize your team and tasks. I love Asana because it’s easy to use and keeps my business organized. I work with my assistant, social media consultant and vendors using Asana. They give you a lot in the free version, but there is a paid subscription.

Social Pilot is a social media marketing tool that you can use to schedule ALL of your social media content in advance. It’s quick, easy, and I can even schedule gifs! I have the paid $30/mo. subscription and it helps me manage all my accounts. One thing I love is that it has the ability to curate content based on topics.

HootSuite is a great option for social media management too. I like the at a glance views they offer. I’ve been using it since it’s inception and watched it get even better over time. There are analytics and other measurements you can use to ensure your social media plan is effective.

Satori is what I use to schedule and manage my coaching clients! It makes it easy for your clients to schedule calls with you, fill out forms and questionnaires. It even puts everything on your calendar and sends reminders out to your clients of their scheduled sessions

Don’t let your business finances catch you off guard! Quickbooks makes invoicing and bookkeeping super easy. I have always used the online version, it syncs with my accounts and my accountant has her own login for my monthly bookkeeping.

Evernote helps me stay organized, write down all of my thoughts, plan, and even save things from the web that I find interesting. I use the free version, but the paid one seems to be worth it for many others. You can save pictures, article clips – everything!!

I have used a lot of email providers, they all do basically the same thing, but I’ve found MailerLite to be my fave! With drag-and-drop capabilities, templates, and more, MailerLite makes it super easy in the email marketing department.  They allow you to use the free version up to 1,000 subscribers.

Working in my home office can sometimes get old – I find myself needing a change of scenery. It helps get the juices flowing! I’ll go to what I call my ‘remote-office coffee house’ location OR post up for the day at a coworking spot. My FAVORITE coworking location in Detroit is Bamboo Detroit. One of the coolest vibes, space is colorful, bright and everyone is so friendly. My clients love to meet me there. Find a nice co-working location in your area and if you are ever in the D, check out Bamboo.

What business tools do you use and love? Are any of these on your list?
