Also, don’t forget about local buyback stores. If you have electronics, you may be able to sell them to a pawn shop or a store like GameStop.

If all else fails, you can have one huge yard sale and advertise is locally for some quick cash.

2. Sign Up To Test Websites

Testing websites is an easy way to make money simply by giving people your opinion. My husband tried this a few years ago as a side hustle and he really enjoyed it.

Basically, you’ll sign up to be a tester with a site like UserTesting or UserFeel. All you need is a computer or laptop with a microphone or built-in microphone function. You’ll need to download some software and you can start reviewing other people’s websites by sharing your honest opinion and reactions.

For both UserTesting and UserFeel, you can earn $10 per test and each test takes about 10 – 20 minutes to complete. You’ll get paid every 7 days by PayPal.

3. Freelance to Make Money Fast

Have a skill or service you can offer? You might be able to pick up some quick freelance gigs for extra cash. Consider writing articles online, doing virtual assistant tasks, or even graphic design work during your spare time.

In order to get paid fast with freelancing, you want to pick up small gigs that pay out instantly upon completion. You can either discuss those terms with clients or use sites like Upwork or Fiverr to find work that pays well and quickly.

With Upwork, you may even be able to receive a 50% advance payment on the price of the work before you even complete it.

4. Drive For Uber or Lyft

If you have a car, you can make money fast by driving for Uber or Lyft. Granted, you may need some gas money to get started, but Uber drivers can make around $15 – $25 per hour plus bonuses and incentives.

To get started, you just need to be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and insurance. You also need to have a 4-door vehicle that fits the age requirements for your area.

You will need to pass a background check and have your vehicle inspected before you start driving. However, you can create your own hours and get paid weekly via direct deposit. Uber even allows you to get paid instantly if you need the money. You can request your weekly payout early if need be and have small fee deducted.

5. Walk Dogs or Pet Sit

Animal lovers will enjoy this extra income idea. Walking dogs is easy and pays pretty well and quickly. If you don’t know anyone in your area who is in need of a dog walker or pet sitter, you can sign up for Rover.com.
